the stress begins

now that we are getting towards the end of the semester, the stress and restlessness is starting to kick in. I am so ready for the stress of school to be over and the warm summer nights of fun to happen. I am so ready to be done with my first semester here! The transition has been a little bit more rough than I had thought it would be. I never really believed that teachers were really that much more strict one the stupid little things like they are here. Apparently community college doesn't teach you jack to help you out. Because it has not done me too well so far.

The end is near...

well I have not written on here for what seems like forever. A lot has happened since then. I have started my games for this semi-pro football team I play for. We lost our first game by 2 points to the defending champs. We should have won, but what can you do? But with school, I can not wait for it to be over. I am sooooooooo sick of being stressed about school related things. I am so over it. But there is only a few more weeks left. It is not going to come fast enough. Right now as I am typing this I screwed up something for another assignment that is due in the class I am writing this for. But hopefully it will all get figured out so I don't get a bad grade because of that! But I think it is time to leave the library. I have been here for like 4 hours.. Which is wayyyyyy too long.

2 weeks

With only two more weeks before spring break teachers seem to be either trying to cram things in or are doing thing right after we return from our week break. I think I would rather have stuff done before the break rather than after. At least you have it all done and don't have anything to worry about while on vacation. But hopefully everything I have in the upcoming weeks I can get dome so my break will be as awesome as it looks like it could be!

The Most Stressful weeks yet...

just like my title says, the past two weeks have by far been the hardest weeks yet. With all of the tests that have happened, and all of the quizzes. Now I have a lot of big assignments that are due with mid-terms coming up. I am starting to get really stressed about things, but what can you do? hopefully the next week or so will be good. Thank goodness for weekends and time to get out of school and have fun and not have to worry about anything with school.

The week after the first test

Well, after my first two tests, I was kind of upset about one of them, and the other I was not happy about, but it wasn't as bad as it could of been. In my visual communications class, I got a low B on the test, and on my research comm class, I definately didn't do as hot as I would have wanted. But this week should be a good one, I can't wait for the weekend, and I'm excited to start another website for the writing for new media class. I was pretty pleased with how my first website turned out for never working with that type of software before. So hopeully it will keep getting better!

My First Website

my first test

well, after my first test, i was not too pleased with my performance. Although I have not gotten my results back from the test, I do not feel to satisfied with my doings. But one thing that I did learn from my test is that I may need to study in a different way, and or study better. There to me was just so much information to understand, but I guess that just means I need to pay more attention in class, take better notes, and study better for the next test. But just like last week, I have a test again this week. So Now that my blog is now up to date, I am gonna go off and study for my Visual Communications class.

Test time

Well now that we have passed the third week, it's time to start getting in to the tests. Just the part of school that I dis-like the most. But we all know that it's part of the cycle and you have to do it whether you like it or not. I have a test in my comm research class on Thursday, and a study session on Thursday in my visual comm class. I really don't know what to expect since this will be my first test here at the U. But I'm still liking the atmosphere, and loving meeting all the new people. So far so good.

My second week at the U.

My second week started off well, I finally know where my classes are, and how long it takes to get to and from them. But now it is getting in to the thick of things, I wish that every week was like the first week, where you basically learn about the class. But if that were the case, we really wouldn't learn anything to benefit from. But it sure would make things a lot less stressful. I guess if we jut didn't have any tests, that would basically take care of the stressing, or at least some of it. But so far I am loving my time here at the University of Utah.

My first week at the University of Utah was certainly a different experience. Every other higher education institution that I have been to, I never had that many people in a class before. In my first class I had somewhere around 135 people in there. During most other classes at other schools, I had at the most 25 or 30 at the very most. I think that is going to be the biggest adjustment to make while going here. The next thing that I am going to have to adjust to is the fact that you won't be able to have very much one on one with that teachers. With 135 students in a class, you can't get to know every student. So far though, I am really liking my classes and professors. So I am hoping that the best is yet to come!!!
