the stress begins

now that we are getting towards the end of the semester, the stress and restlessness is starting to kick in. I am so ready for the stress of school to be over and the warm summer nights of fun to happen. I am so ready to be done with my first semester here! The transition has been a little bit more rough than I had thought it would be. I never really believed that teachers were really that much more strict one the stupid little things like they are here. Apparently community college doesn't teach you jack to help you out. Because it has not done me too well so far.

  1. Though this is my second semester here, I have to say that I know how you feel. The end of the semester is really rough, and having come from a very lax high school right into a real college is like jumping into a cold pool after being in the jacuzzi, that is to say, a shock, and a rather unpleasant one, though one you had to see coming...
Best wishes from me to you, I hope your next semester fares better...and mine as well!

  2. hah, i have been here a year and a half, and man, it gets tougher, but you get used to it so much faster each time. I have adapted alright. But yeah, summer fun, god i am ready for it, campin and boatin trips are waiting for me, and i need a break from an intense semester. Anyway, good luck in next semester and have fun man.

  3. You've blogged about a subject that I think many students can identify with. This could be an interesting way to continue to share experiences and tips for how to get through it all. Have a good summer.
